I worked with Gain Momentum Marketing on a fantastic project all about orangutans for International Animal Rescue (IAR).
Lesson plans and factsheets are available for each year group from Early Years/Reception through to Year 6. Not only will children learn all about the amazing orangutan, but they will also explore where they live, find out why they are endangered and how organisations like IAR are helping.
We created an assembly and series of lesson plans for early years and primary-aged children based around the theme of ‘Giving them a voice’. The activities focus on how we need to advocate on behalf of those at risk and unable to speak on their own behalf, including how organisations like IAR can do so on behalf of threatened species and habitats.
